Sample Types
Capillary Blood (Fingerstick)
A few drops of blood from the fingertip – nearly painlessly collected using a safety lancet and applied to a dried blood spot card.
Dried Blood Spot / DBS
Dried blood spot on filter paper – stable at room temperature, ideal for postal shipping and analysis of many biomarkers.
Venous Micro-Collection
Capillary tube collection for analyses requiring slightly larger sample volumes – also without venipuncture.
