Model Project: Antibody Population Testing Böblingen
Digitally assisted SARS-CoV-2 antibody determination in a Point-of-Care environment as a model project. The "Böblingen Model" by pharmacist Dr. Björn Schittenhelm established nationwide population testing with Covid-19 antigen rapid tests.
Challenge
In the Böblingen district, antibody titers against SARS-CoV-2 were to be determined through mass testing in five pharmacies – as a decision basis for booster vaccinations.
Solution
DoctorBox provided end-to-end encrypted data transmission from test persons through test centers to laboratories and back. Results were delivered digitally via the DoctorBox App to participants.
Result
Successful model project with thousands of participants. The whitepaper documents the workflow as a blueprint for future Point-of-Care testing scenarios.
